Knock Blocks
The Medium Size Dog Knock Block is a
cowbell, wood block and guiro in one. It
has a strong, sharp sound that can cut through the loudest ensembles and a full
voice even when played quietly. Rubbing
the ridges with their hickory stick gives you a guiro sound. Rubbing more slowly and
gently gives you that wooden frog "Ribbit"
Covering and exposing the slots gives you
a further option for tweaking the sound.
The current standard size is 2.75"x 3.5"x
7" Other sizes are available. The blocks
are all Baltic Birch. Price for the standard

unique. Round, egg shaped, bumpy, smooth,elongated. Size, shape, texture.
Some are quiet and swishy, some are loud
and aggressive or somewhere in between.
They range from about 3" to 7" in diameter.
They have multiple coats of the tough, safe
finish you'll find on all MSD instruments.
